As a GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® trainer I had heard about the Franklin Method from other people in the movement field, but I only first experienced it myself at a 2 hour workshop by Eric in the fall of 2012.

Just 5-10 minutes into the workshop, I knew that this was something I wanted to know more about.
I could really feel the power of using imagery together with movement to make changes in the body, and it was the first time I had a true experience of the mind- body connection.

I didn’t think I was going to take the professional training so soon, but I am very happy that I did. From the start of the first module I knew this was going to be something really special, and that I had made the right choice.

Besides learning about how the body functions, we also learn how to more effectively make use of our minds to create any changes that we want.

This is the main difference from other forms of trainings and programs. Because we experience ourselves how our thinking affects our body, it is necessary to look at our own patterns and be willing to make positive changes.

I have to admit that this was not something I thought so much about when I signed up for the program. The main reason I signed up was that I would be able to help my clients make changes in themselves better.

But, I soon was reminded that, of course, in order to help my clients, I need to be able to help myself first.

In the process of going through the training, I have noticed myself becoming more willing to accept my own weaknesses, and to allow myself to show more of who I am. I also feel more comfortable in my own body, and have made great improvements in my posture.

The Franklin Method training is different in that it doesn’t teach you any new exercises.

It teaches you how your body is really designed and how it has been functioning all along.Kind of like a user’s manual.

Then, it helps you to have a real experience of that through your own body, and by using imagery effectively. If you know how your body works, then you can apply that knowledge to any movement or exercise that you do regularly.

I plan to use what I learned in the training both to improve the efficiency of my own movement in GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS®, as well as in daily life, and also to help my clients experience the same.

I believe having this knowledge is essential for anyone teaching people how to move!
And, because moving is something that we all do, as well as using our minds, this can really benefit anyone who has anything they want to improve.

That is why I want to help spread this to as many people as possible by teaching the Franklin Method Workshops.

Can you imagine how this world would look like if we all knew how to take care of ourselves better?
